LeBron James and the LA Lakers defeated the LA Clippers on Wednesday night by mounting a spectacular comeback.

One expert was left with no option but to go on TV and apologize for this performance. LeBron James received an apology from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith on Thursday after the player helped the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 116–112.

Smith claimed on Tuesday, before Wednesday night’s game, that the “Clippers are going to bust there tomorrow night,” which is why he felt the need to apologize.

He meant the Lakers collectively, not only James. Following the victory, the ESPN anchor changed part of his criticism of James on “First Take.” Smith apologized to James.

I owe LeBron James an apology. LeBron James was sensational. I have to stand down, and I have to say on national television. His greatness was sublime, so spectacular, I have to give major props to the one and only LeBron James.

Additionally, he claimed to be unaware of Paul George’s decision to not suit up for this game.

A big chunk of the Lakers’ comeback from a 21-point hole went to James. In the fourth quarter, the four-time NBA champion dominated the Clippers 19–16. In James’s almost 21 years in the NBA, it was the largest comeback in the fourth quarter.

On Monday, LeBron James expressed his disapproval of the latest NBA draft estimates that shifted his son Bronny’s class from 2024 to 2025.

James has long dreamed of playing in the NBA with his eldest kid, and he very well still may, if it takes a year longer than expected. Following this, Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith criticize the 39-year-old celebrity for mocking the college athlete.

All of it, all of it is his fault. Bronny James, the youngster, has done nothing but toil and attempt to excel in the game. Any attention he gets is because of his father. Do you want to post about leaving your son alone? You’re the reason for that.

Smith didn’t stop there, claiming that while Bronny, who had a cardiac episode this past summer that sent him to the hospital, focuses on recovering and forging his route in the NBA, James is operating below the curtain.
