The Draymond GreenKevin Durant beef has been a talk amongst the heated moments between players this season, urging that certain animosity has hindered their friendship from the Golden State Warriors. While many have termed them as ‘enemies’, Green himself has come out with open arms.

The former recently suggested he and Kevin Durant could med things for whatever happened in the past. He gave an in-detail response on the 7PMinBrooklyn podcast.

Draymond Green in the 7PMinBrooklyn podcast hosted by Carmelo Anthony, said,

I respect KD as a basketball player. He’s one of the best we’ve ever seen, and that’s kind of where it’s at. I got no I’ll will. I actually got nothing but love for KD, actually. But love is love. Once I got love for you, bro. You got to do some crazy f**ked up s**t for me to not have love for you no more.

The two would go on to talk about the moment when Green misinterpreted Durant’s message of condolence concerning his mental health after the suspension. And it wasn’t the first time both have crossed paths with verbal battles after his foul on Jusuf Nurkic to that last moment block to deny the game-winner for Phoenix Suns followed by a few acts of poking. The pair have been in close contact even after KD’s departure, with a few messages on his absence and still being able to win.

But with ill attitudes to back and forth, Draymond has finally given his word that “[There’s] always room” for conversation between the two Golden State Warriors legends, to put matters into place and end it once and for all.

Draymond Green and Kevin Durant’s beef

Fans will forever remember Kevin Durant’s achievement in the Golden State Warriors franchise. From back-to-back NBA titles to winning the MVP, there is no forgetting what he did with that Warriors team. But from his side, he won’t forget a certain individual, by the name of Draymond Green.

From dominating the league to beefing with each other, one of the main reasons for Kevin Durant to leave the Warriors was due to his relationship with Green. There were noises that both of them usually didn’t get along.

Even in games, both were seen arguing with each other with KD ultimately leaving the franchise. But even after their separation, both of them still have their “square-up” moments, with now Green willing to settle things down.

While both could mend things from the past, there is no denying both have been huge influentials in the game of basketball.
