Once a pesky defender like Draymond Green latches onto a player, he will tightly guard that player. Green is cut from the same cloth as elite defenders like Dennis Rodman and played a similar role in the Warriors’ Dynasty. However, most of Draymond Green’s foes usually have to deal with his blows off the court as well.
Fans are dubbing Jusuf Nurkic as Green’s nemesis because of the constant back-and-forth between the two adversaries. The conflict between the two started when last season Green slammed Nurkic on the ground in an effort to sell a call. This stimulated a glib response from Phoenix Suns’ center, who facetiously remarked that “Hope that brother gets help.”
Since then, Draymond Green has flipped the script on “300-pound softy“, especially after Nurkic recently got himself ejected over an impulsive squabble where the basketball fans saw the fists flying in the NBA for the first time in years. On his latest episode of The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis, Green further taunted Nurkic, mocking his mental fortitude.

Naturally, the former two-time All-Star, Baron Davis, was in stitches at the co-host, Draymond Green’s antics. Green recapped the whole tape of the fight on his show and gave his honest opinion. He pointed out how ridiculous it was that the guy who got swung on first was suspended for more games.
Jusuf Nurkic faced a three-game suspension after his recent altercation with Naji Marshall. Meanwhile, Marshall was suspended for four games. Fans have also pointed out the irony of the situation while reveling in the simmering bad blood between Nurkic and Green.
Draymond Green suggests that Jusuf Nurkic might be dodging their next matchup
Right after the game against the Dallas Mavericks in which Jusuf Nurkic was suspended, the Phoenix Suns were set to match up with the Golden State Warriors. With the history of trash talk and scuffles between these two players, Green made a wild speculation.

Considering the looming trade deadline, the Bosnian big man is in no position to miss out on games. The Suns are currently struggling to keep their playoff hopes alive as they sit in 12th place in the Western Conference with a 17-19 record.
Currently, they look like a franchise highly dependent on the contributions of its aging superstar, Kevin Durant. The Suns are likely looking to make moves to strengthen their roster. Phoenix is expected to pick up an easy win as they prepare to host the injury-ridden Utah Jazz on Saturday. However, the players need to step up to boost their playoff hopes.
