Right after Shaquille O’Neal‘s big announcement about a potential fight with Rob Gronkowski, former NBA star Dwight Howard seems to want to join, too.
After Shaq’s revelation to organize an NBA vs. NFL tournament, Dwight Howard took to his X account to challenge the Big Diesel to a bout in the octagon. Following the Tyson versus Paul fight, Howard suggested that Shaquille O’Neal settle their off-court disputes in the ring once and for all.

However, even though Howard sent out a public challenge to Shaquille O’Neal, many wondered why the basketball sensation hadn’t tagged Shaq in his post. In response, Howard made a surprising revelation. He revealed that the Big Diesel has apparently blocked him on social media.

Howard and Shaq have a deep-rooted history, with years of beef between them. The beef emanated after O’Neal mocked Howard during his early playing days. Since then, the two have never been able to fix their relationship.

Fans mocked Shaquille O’Neal ruthlessly for ‘soft’ actions by blocking Dwight Howard. Howard seemed to take it in his stride; however, he laughed off the block in his post on X.
For the time being, there seems to be no indication that the two rivals will ever face off to resolve their beef. At the very least, though, a boxing bout between the two is sure to be primetime entertainment.
