Dan Henderson is a UFC legend and BMF title holder Max Holloway recognizes it. Holloway mentioned Henderson in his latest Joe Rogan appearance. He said that if the BMF title was around during the early 2000s Dan Henderson would definitely be a contender.
Max Holloway recently sat down for a conversation on The Joe Rogan Experience. This was after he won the BMF title with a highlight knockout victory over Justin Gaethje at UFC 300. Talking about it, Holloway said:
Dan Hendo is the man. He’s a bad motherf*cker. If he was around during the belt, he’d be one of the guys fighting for the belt too. He’s a BMF too, true and true… His logo so good that’s iconic bro.

Dan Henderson is a former UFC champion and two-time American Olympian in Greco-Roman wrestling. His UFC record boasts of 32 MMA wins and 15 losses. Henderson has held titles in multiple weight classes and is considered one of the most ferocious knockout artists in MMA history. He made a return to the UFC in 2011 for a series of brutal matchups. His UFC 139 win against Shogun Hua lasted for five rounds and was named fight of the year.
Henderson was the first mixed martial artist to hold two titles in two different weight classes at the same. This happened when he competed for PRIDE Fighting Championships in 2000. The logo that Holloway mentioned was the iconic knocking out of Michael Bisping by Henderson at UFC 100.
