In a few days, one of the highly anticipated UFC fight cards (UFC 309) is set to take place at the Madison Square Garden in New York. This event has also attracted the interest of several prominent individuals. Notably, newly elected President Donald Trump mentioned that he plans to attend the UFC 309 PPV. Although it was initially unclear, Aljamain Sterling, has since confirmed Trump’s attendance.
Ariel Helwani recently asked Aljamain Sterling about his arrival for the upcoming UFC 309 PPV. In response, the former UFC bantamweight champion mentioned that he has not yet received his tickets for the event. Interestingly, he also confirmed that President Donald Trump is scheduled to be at Madison Square Garden this weekend.

Interestingly, Sterling’s comments suggested that Trump’s arrival may have impacted his chance of obtaining a ticket for UFC 309. According to ‘Funk Master’, the newly elected president claimed a significant number of tickets under his name. As a result, the promotion might need to reserve those extra tickets for Trump.
While initial speculations indicated that Sterling was making an indirect jab at Trump, ‘Funk Master’ later clarified this. He quickly addressed the issue in response to the embedded tweet, demonstrating his perspective.

Over the years, the Republican presidential representative has made several appearances on pay-per-view events. Each time he has attended, Trump has received a warm welcome from the UFC community. Likewise, similar to Sterling, several other UFC fighters have also commented on the newly elected President’s arrival at the events.
Bo Nickal is confident about Donald Trump’s arrival at UFC 309
Donald Trump, a frequent attendee at major UFC events, has developed a fondness for the UFC community. Over the years, this connection has led him to admire several UFC fighters. One notable fighter on that list is the undefeated UFC middleweight contender, Bo Nickal, who shares a great camaraderie with the newly elected president.
Before his election victory, Trump appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience, where he discussed several fighters. During that episode, the newly elected president mentioned that he would love to attend Bo Nickal’s fight at UFC 309 if he won the election. Because of this, the undefeated middleweight fighter is feeling confident that Trump will be present at the fight night at UFC 309.
I think he’s gonna be there. He (Donald Trump) told me a couple of times that he’s gonna be there. He’s the President… I’m sure that if he’s not (at UFC 309), there was something else that was more important.

Trump recently won the presidential election and may have several important responsibilities ahead. Nickal also mentioned that if the newly elected president fails to attend the fight night on UFC 309, it will be due to these important obligations. Now, with only a few days remaining before the grand event, everyone in the MMA community is excited to see the intriguing fight card.
