Conor McGregor is the biggest name in combat sports and has recently made his Hollywood debut, skyrocketing his fame. One of the reasons for McGregor’s popularity was his fierce rivalry with Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team, particularly his manager, Ali Abdelaziz. Recently, the manager surprisingly praised the Irishman.
Abdelaziz’s foray into MMA management was through Frankie Edgar. As such, he was a recent guest on Edgar’s Champ and The Tramp podcast. On the podcast, Edgar praised Ryan Garcia‘s promotional capabilities, making his fight against Devin Haney a success. However, Abdelaziz added Garcia was not the first to do it.
