In doing so, the Irishman also backed UFC CEO Dana White‘s dream project at Las Vegas Sphere to overshadow the Canelo Alvarez vs. Edgar Berlanga fight card.
Interestingly, Canelo Alvarez’s choice to avoid facing his long-time rival David Benavidez has sparked intense criticism. The renowned Mexican boxer has persistently turned down the prospect of competing against Benavidez. Canelo even declared that he would only consider fighting Benavidez if offered a staggering $200 million. In response, Conor McGregor launched a scathing verbal attack.
