Harman Baweja made headlines earlier this year with rumors swirling around his potential involvement in Ranbir Kapoor’s highly-anticipated Ramayana film. However, in a recent interview, the actor opened up about his current focus on producing, hinting that he may not be part of the much-discussed project after all.
Making his mark with his debut in Love Story 2050 alongside Priyanka Chopra, Harman Baweja has impressed audiences with both his acting skills and producing endeavors. Recently, in a candid chat with PTI, he shared insights into his upcoming ventures.
While his return in the Netflix series Scoop was met with critical acclaim and audience appreciation, Harman reflected on the shift in his priorities. Despite the accolades for his acting, he expressed his dedication to expanding his production company, Baweja Studios.
Acknowledging the offers that have come his way, Harman confessed, “I haven’t committed to any acting projects post-Scoop. Acting-wise, I’m taking a back seat for now. Scoop was a significant comeback for me after a decade, and I’m content with the impact of my role.”
The multi-talented artist emphasized his focus on the realm of production, emphasizing his enthusiasm for creating and exploring new avenues. “My upcoming workload will predominantly revolve around production. Acting will only occupy a minimal fraction of my time over the next few years,” he shared.
Earlier reports hinted at Harman Baweja’s possible portrayal of Vibhishan in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana trilogy, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. However, his recent revelations have quashed the speculation, leaving fans curious about the final casting choices for the epic project.
As the entertainment industry buzzes with anticipation for the grand retelling of the epic tale, Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana promises to be a cinematic extravaganza with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi leading the charge. Harman Baweja’s journey, meanwhile, continues to evolve, with his focus firmly set on shaping the future of storytelling through his production endeavors.
