Joe Rogan is known for being quite straightforward with his opinions on various topics. One of his beliefs is that individuals should avoid performing comedy gags outside of a comedy club. Recently, his friend Tony Hinchcliffe made some jokes at a Donald Trump rally at Madison Square Garden. As such, it resulted in significant backlash. Rogan addressed the matter on his podcast a few days later.

Like many other individuals, Tony Hinchcliffe also attended the recent Trump rally at Madison Square Garden, where he gave a speech. However, some attendees found his remarks to be racist and expressed their outrage toward him. In response, Joe Rogan addressed the situation during a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan Experience.

It‘s a terrible setup. It‘s a political rally, and you‘re doing jokes like you‘re in a comedy club… That joke kills at comedy clubs, I don‘t like the joke, but it kills. I said to him, I go, ‘Dude, that‘s the one that‘s going to get you stabbed‘ and he used to talk about it on stage…

Hinchcliffe specializes in roast and insult comedy, which means he is accustomed to speaking in that style. However, the recent Trump rally was different from his typical public performances. As such, it was a political event that was broadcast globally. Despite this, Hinchcliffe addressed the large crowd in his usual manner and made a joke about Puerto Rico being a “floating island of garbage.”
