Hinchcliffe specializes in roast and insult comedy, which means he is accustomed to speaking in that style. However, the recent Trump rally was different from his typical public performances. As such, it was a political event that was broadcast globally. Despite this, Hinchcliffe addressed the large crowd in his usual manner and made a joke about Puerto Rico being a “floating island of garbage.”

Rogan has been a long-time friend of Hinchcliffe and, like many Puerto Rican citizens, he was displeased with some jokes his friend made in the political rally. However, apart from this incident, the UFC commentator has consistently praised the popular comedian’s exceptional talents. Due to this, Rogan has featured Hinchcliffe on his shows multiple times, including for live fight reactions on several occasions.
