Historically, three-round affairs fare better as the usual template for non-title events. In the interest of time, that has always been the case to keep the focus throughout the prelims as well. Top middleweight Paulo Costa’s Haymaker battle at UFC 298 proved far better than his slow-running decision loss at UFC 302: Makhachev vs Poirier. Such few cases prove that three-round outputs are better.

Subsequently, he will look to live up to those remarks at UFC 303. The 26-year-old has already mentioned his disinterest in fighting down the ladder against Page. Yet, now that some fans are veering towards the Brit from Team London Shootfighters, Gary is ready to show a masterclass against him.
He is on a 14-0 MMA and 7-0 UFC streak. Concurrently, the young Irishman thinks the disparity in ranking and a ten-year age difference will help his output better in a five-round affair. It remains to be seen if the UFC makes it a five-round contest. If not, Garry will have to prove his level by dominantly defeating MVP in a three-round contest.
