🚨 BREAKING 🚨 | Francis Ngannou's MMA Return vs Renan Ferreira on Oct 19th!

Francis Ngannou‘s life is nothing short of a Hollywood movie. After years of struggling with poverty in Cameroon, Ngannou made it to France and got hooked on MMA. His determination paid off as he went on to become the UFC heavyweight champion. However, after all his achievements, he hit rock bottom after his son’s death.

Earlier this year, Francis Ngannou announced the tragic death of his 15-month-old son Kobe. He shared a heartfelt message on his social media account. During his interview with Joe Rogan, Ngannou got emotional about the situation and discussed being hopeful of meeting his son in the afterlife. Recently, he talked about potentially retiring after his son’s death but instead chose to fight in memory of his son.

The past few months haven’t been the easiest. I think it has been by far my hardest [moment] in life. I lost my son. For some time, I felt like I didn’t even have to do this or question if I should do it or fight again. But I want to do something good in his memory. Not to be the reason for me to quit but to be motivation and also to fight for him

Francis Ngannou left UFC due to the promotion’s inability to provide him with a good contract. Ngannou also didn’t like the way he was being treated inside the company. Ultimately, his decision to leave was worth it as he got a way better deal in the PFL. On top of it, he tried his luck in professional boxing against the likes of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Years after leaving UFC, Francis Ngannou still has a massive MMA fan base that wants him to fight Jon Jones. Now, ‘Bones’ is scheduled to fight Stipe Miocic later this year. However, according to Francis Ngannou, Miocic’s inactivity over the last few years might make it tough on the greatest UFC heavyweight champion.

His timing might be little off. I think it’s gonna be very tough for him though.

Miocic’s last MMA fight was against Ngannou three years ago, when he was severely knocked out. While Jones and Dana White regularly promote the narrative, many fans are less enthusiastic about the fight. As such, Stipe Miocic has a huge ask to overcome Jones and silence the doubters.
