He was released by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2022. Since then Bauer has made moves in the minor leagues in Japan. In March 2023, he signed a one-year deal with Yokohama Baystars. Even after this, he has continued to make headlines.
The 32-year-old ability has seen a slight decline. He though has amazed the Japanese crowds with his skills. Bauer recently found himself under the heat again for his iconic “sword celebration.” He has now fired back at his critics. He posted a clip of him doing the celebration on his Twitter and called out the American media.
