Charles Barkley has a reputation for being one of the most outspoken and quick-witted people in the basketball world. However, he has stayed off social media for as long as it has been around.
Even after joining Instagram during the NFL Super Bowl weekend, he mentioned that he did not know how to use it properly. So Shaquille O’Neal tried to trick Barkley into doing an OnlyFans promotion as part of his Instagram learning curve.
The topic of Charles Barkley joining Instagram was picked up by co-panelist Kenny Smith on their show Inside the NBA on TNT. After Smith and O’Neal learned that Barkley did not know how to use Instagram, they started telling him how to use the app. O’Neal used the opportunity to trick Barkley.

Interestingly enough, when the whole room burst out laughing, this confused Barkley even more. He did not know what they were talking about. Smith ended up telling Barkley to not listen to O’Neal.
The NBA Hall of Famer had no clue when they were talking about ‘Sliding into DMs’. Barkley asked Kenny Smith to teach him how to slide in DM’s. He did mention to host Adam Lefkoe that the term means to message somebody. Smith clarified that the term refers to when one wants to message someone of the other sex.
Barkley also admitted that he does not use his account, as it is handled by someone else. He admitted that he had no idea how to handle social media accounts.
Charles Barkley has hilariously never been on social media. Time and again, he has shown an aversion to it. Even though he uses a smartphone, he has long preferred to stay away from any social media applications.

This is with his assistants handling the account. If Barkley were to take over the operations and post on the account just like he spews out his brilliantly hilarious one-liners, the subscribers’ numbers should shoot up.
All in all, Charles Barkley’s ignorance regarding his social media account was evident. And Shaquille O’Neal took that opportunity to have some fun at Barkley’s expense, with OnlyFans as the best trick.
