Last night, the Accor Arena in Paris hosted some of the most electrifying UFC performances in recent memory. Despite the absence of major stars, the UFC Paris fight card delivered the excitement fans anticipated. However, headlinerย Renato Moicanoย appeared dissatisfied hours laterย despite smashing 155-pounder Benoit Saint-Denis.
The main event fight between Moicano and Saint-Denis was a brutal battle. Moicano dominated early, taking Saint-Denis down in the first round and unleashing a relentless ground-and-pound attack. After round two, the doctor stopped the fight, awarding Moicano the victory. Despite taking home the winnerโs paycheck, the Brazilian had some expletives to say on X.
When the โPerformance of the Nightโ bonuses were announced, Moicano expressed frustration at not getting awarded one. It was not the only time he verbally attacked France. During his octagon interview, Renato Moicano called out the French government for its workings. French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as the French Revolution, caught rude strays from the Brazilian star.
Fuck Franceโฆ. they taxed me very high ๐๐๐๐

These two incidents made the Brazilian star mad. As such, Renato Moicano once again dissed the French government for the high taxes. Amount above โฌ168,995 gets taxed 45 percent. Moicanoโs paycheck ranges from $250,000 to $300,000. As such, the 45 percent applies to his paycheck, making him lose a significant amount. Nevertheless, he aims to make more money with easy money fights.
Renato Moicano calls out โeasy fightโ Paddy Pimblett
Two top-15 lightweights headlined UFC Paris (UFC Fight Night 243). Alongside a jab at the French President and a challenge to Paddy Pimblett, โMoneyโ Moicano had plenty to celebrate. His dominant performance remains even more impressive, considering he dealt with a nasty shoulder injury heading into the fight.
No one in the UFC calls for โeasy fights.โ Truth be told, there are no easy fights. However, Moicano deemed Benoit Saint-Denis as a hard fight and asked the UFC to give him easier fights moving forward. This was an indirect jab at Pimblett and Kiwi star Dan Hooker.
Hooker engaged in a tough battle on the UFC 305 pay-per-view main card at RAC Arena in Perth. Meanwhile, Pimblett is coming off a submission victory against Bobby Green at UFC 304. The Brazilian fighterโs victory solidified his position as a sought-after fighter. With this win, he remains on track for a substantial paycheck, which he enjoys. Only the UFC knows what they have in store for Money Moicano.
