Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor engaged in one of the biggest feuds in combat sports history. A handful of years away from 2018, it still echoes around the MMA world even now. It has birthed the Irish vs. Dagestan MMA debates as well. Oddly enough, loudmouth ex-UFC talent Darren Till now gets in the mix.

No, Darren Till is an Englishman not associated with either superstars. But with the Usman Nurmagomedov vs. Paul Hughes Bellator Champions Series: Road to Dubai fast approaching, it’s no-holds-barred again. Khabib recently took aim at Irish MMA for not being at par with his nation. Now, “Gorilla” fires back at the Dagestan-Ireland comments.

I’ve always respected Khabib and his team a lot they are fantastic fighters. But for him to sit there and say fighters from Ireland are low level in comparison of sizes of countries and production Ireland is actually way ahead. Ireland is so fucking small and Russia is so fu*king big. Ireland has produced amazing fighters over the years. I would said just over size and production of the country Ireland wins every time and this is not me being biased because I am neither friends with khabibs side or irelands side I’m just stating my opinion.

Earlier this week, Khabib did an interview to promote the upcoming PFL ‘Road to Dubai’ card of January. Despite going toe-to-toe with Conor McGregor and the success of the UFC 229 PPV event, he doesn’t see the point. ‘The Eagle’ doesn’t see any real rivalry between the nations anymore and also dumbs down Irish talent pool. It was a huge slight on Ian Garry, Hughes, and others.

Russia is one of the most dominant regions in MMA as it continues to produce champions. ‘The Notorious’ McGregor is the only Irish champion from a major promotion. However, Darren Till said that geographically, that’s a big thing for the nation of Ireland. As it happens, Till wasn’t the only one to vent some frustrations.

Whether or not Conor McGregor has actually seen the video of his old rival remains to be seen. But he was certainly on edge during his appearance on X tonight. The Irishman appeared to rip into an unknown foe in a series of aggressive tweets just hours after Nurmagomedov.

Many a time, ‘Mystic Mac’ has been back on X-Spaces to taunt and insult. In the latest thread of a now-defunct post, McGregor voiced some gibberish, in all probability a response to the Dagestani legend. Khabib Nurmagomedov’s history with the Irish superstar has been embroiled in an intense rivalry.

Their bus scuffle and the build-up itself was one for ages and as was their fight. Per reports from mma.metarating.ru/MASH, ‘The Eagle’ reportedly owed $3.3 million in taxes to the Federal Tax Service. During the frame, McGregor yet again dissed the rival on scouting UAE citizenship to avoid the Gulag. He even notoriously wanted to buy out his home.

After his tweet-and-delete spree, he followed up by adding “The done nothing ever’s. #NotOneThing.” McGregor even doused some warning on an unknown rival “Never speak my name, you are not on my level. We are not the same. I don’t represent you are any of you. I represent greatness… Hold my spit bucket holders spit bucket. That’s your level.” As of now, there’s no end to this rivalry, circa 2018-2025!
