Sean Oโ€™Malley and Merab Dvalishvili are set to fight each other this year. MMA veterans Demetrious Johnson and Urijah Faber talked about who could possibly win this fight. Faber who has previously contested for the bantamweight title talked about what makes Sean Oโ€™Malley a dangerous fighter.

UFC veteran Urijah Faber recently sat down for a conversation with Demetrious Johnson on his YouTube channel. During their discussion, Faber talked about what makes Sean Oโ€™Malley so dangerous.

The thing that makes him so dangerous is being as long and lanky as he is, and as coordinated and as fast as he is, that’s rare. We see that with like a Sandhagen who’s just a step behind. But I think O’Malley has a little bit of delusion and a little bit of bravado that puts him a step ahead on that.

He also said that Oโ€™Malleyโ€™s grappling skills were underrated. Faber apparently has trained with the people Oโ€™Malley trains within Arizona. As such, even he vouched for their skills. Talking about Merab Dvalishvili, Faber said something that got Demetrious Johnson bursting with laughter.

Urijah Faber said that Merab Dvalishvili never looks good in a fight. However, the #1 bantamweight contender โ€˜marches forwardโ€™ and dominates his opponents in the octagon. Faber said Merab could beat Oโ€™Malley because he can take a punch, is awkward and unpredictable, is tireless and relentless, and loves to make fights ugly. He also added that Oโ€™Malley is definitely more skilled than Dvalishvili. However, if Dvalishvili gets a hold of him, it could be bad news for the bantamweight champion.

However, in Conor McGregorโ€™s latest live stream on KICK, he revealed what he really thought about the bantamweight champion.

You know, I like Sean Oโ€™Malley; I do actually like Sean. I just seen the disrespect of Garciaโ€ฆ it just reminded me of a situation with Sean, and he kind of got caught in the crosshairs. He also said something like heโ€™d beat me, not in his wildest dreams. But I do like Sean.
