The UFC roster features many exciting personalities, particularly those known for being outspoken. Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland is one such individual. Throughout the years, he has found himself in various controversies. Recently, Strickland responded to a post in which Bryce Mitchell made comments criticizing Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
A few months ago, UFC featherweight fighter Bryce Mitchell posted a video on social media comparing his truck to the Tesla Cybertruck. In the video, Mitchell also made some critical comments about Elon Musk for robbing the citizens of America. Interestingly, months later, Sean Strickland came across that video and appeared to praise Bryce Mitchell for his remarks.

Interestingly, both Strickland and Mitchell share a strong camaraderie. The two UFC fighters have a history of getting involved in various contentious matters. That said, both Strickland and Mitchell are also proud Americans. In particular, Strickland has consistently spoken up when discussions about his country arise. However, while Mitchell has a heated animosity against Elon Musk, the UFC middleweight fighter doesn’t.

Strickland, known for his outspoken nature, has always been an advocate for free speech. When Musk acquired Twitter (now X), ’Tarzan’, of all people, was quite pleased and even praised the Tesla CEO for it. Consequently, he didn’t write anything overtly critical of Musk in his recent tweet. However, in another tweet, Strickland did lash out at a prominent individual in the nation.

‘Tarzan’ Sean Strickland is among the most exciting personalities in the UFC. In addition to his fighting career, Strickland is also an active political enthusiast. He is a pro-Republican and has openly praised Donald Trump. Most recently, after Trump’s election victory, Strickland publicly expressed his excitement. While he heaped praises on republicans, Strickland is quite critical of the Democrats.

Speaking about his UFC career, Strickland is currently scheduled to face Dricus Du Plessis in a rematch for the UFC middleweight title on UFC 312. In their previous encounter, ‘Tarzan’ lost a close fight against Du Plessis, resulting in him losing the UFC middleweight belt. It will be interesting to see if Strickland can rise to the occasion and reclaim his title this time.
