Trigger Warning: This article discusses sensitive topics such as rape and violence.

Sean โ€˜Diddyโ€™ Combsโ€™ legal team has strongly responded to Tony Buzbee, the Houston attorney who recently filed six new lawsuits against the music mogul. In an interview with TMZ, Combs’ attorneys dismissed Buzbee’s actions as a mere publicity stunt, labeling him as an attention seeker.

Describing the press conference and the 1-800 number set up by Buzbee as blatant attempts to attract attention, Combs’ legal team pointed out the orchestrated nature of the situation. The 1-800 number was specifically established for accusers to come forward against Diddy, with Buzbee claiming to represent 120 individuals who allege to have been victimized by the incarcerated rapper.

In response to the recent legal actions, Combs’ legal representatives asserted to TMZ that the truth will prevail in court, emphasizing that Mr. Combs has never engaged in any form of sexual assault against anyone, regardless of age or gender.

News of the six new lawsuits against Diddy emerged online on Monday, with Buzbee filing the complaints on behalf of two women and four men, including a teenager, in the Southern District of New York.

The identified plaintiffs, known as Jane and John Does, allege instances of sexual abuse, assault, and rape by Combs spanning from 1995 to 2021. One of the lawsuits details a harrowing account from an unidentified woman who claims that she was coerced into a Manhattan hotel room by Combs, where she and a friend were subjected to alcohol and drug consumption. The woman alleges that Combs threatened their lives before sexually assaulting her in 2004 when she was 19 years old.

Another lawsuit recounts the traumatic experience of a woman who asserts that Diddy raped her at a party in 1995 in New York City. The event, celebrating the release of Biggie Smallsโ€™ music video, turned sinister when Combs allegedly assaulted her after requesting a private conversation.

The lawsuit describes a violent encounter where Combs assaulted the woman, leaving her with a threat to remain silent on the matter. Similar accounts of sexual assault by Combs are detailed in other complaints, including one where a man claims he was promised a show business opportunity in exchange for sexual favors when he was only 16 years old.

These recent legal challenges against Combs follow his indictment on federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution in September. Despite pleading not guilty, Combs was denied bail and is currently detained at Brooklynโ€™s Metropolitan Detention Center.

Combs’ legal troubles began in 2023 when his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, accused him of rape. However, the case was settled out of court after Cassie withdrew her complaint. Combs is set to stand trial for the federal charges on May 5, 2025, facing a potential life sentence or a minimum of 15 years in prison upon conviction.
