Joe Rogan has undeniably become the voice of the UFC, thanks to his years of dedication as one of the promotion’s main commentators. From starting out by working for free during the early days of the UFC, Rogan has risen to become a multi-millionaire. With that immense wealth, it’s very hard to remain grounded and unchanged but not Rogan.

Rogan’s good friend and comedian Bryan Callen recently did an interview with UFC superstar Sean O’Malley‘s coach, Tim Welch. During the conversation, Welch asked Bryan Callen about his relationship with Rogan and how things have changed over the years. According to the comedian, Rogan has always been the same.

I have known him 30 years exactly….money and fame literally didn’t change him. It didn’t change and how hard he works out. Didn’t change how honest he is, didn’t change anything about him.

Initially, Joe Rogan built his wealth through UFC commentating, stand-up comedy, acting, and hosting shows like Fear Factor. His major financial success was the multi-million dollar deal with Spotify for his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. JRE was a global hit, which made him the celebrity he is now.

However, despite earning that much money, Rogan stayed humble to work which started everything. Though he doesn’t like to travel abroad, he’s mostly available to cover top UFC pay-per-view events in the US. This has kept him connected to his primary audience over the years.

Along with all that success, Joe Rogan has experienced his share of controversies. He has faced backlash for hosting polarizing guests and discussing sensitive topics like COVID-19, gender identity, and conspiracies. Rogan, on the other hand, defends himself by emphasizing free speech and open dialogue, refusing to back down despite mounting criticism.

Joe Rogan‘s resilience and unapologetic approach have solidified his status as a cultural figure thriving amidst controversy and differing perspectives. All this has made his cult following even stronger. In an interview with Ben Shapiro, he opened up about dealing with negativity and how he doesn’t care about being canceled.

Well, I feel like, if you have f**k you money and you don’t say f**k you then who is going to. Who is going to? Look I am a good person, I am a nice guy. I pay my taxes, I have a bunch of great friends, and loved ones, and kids. I try to be nice to people, that’s what I try to do. But If I see something that is ridiculous, and I make fun of it and people get mad at me for that, that’s on you, that’s on you.
