Despite failed Hollywood venture, Donald Cerrone gets Dana White's cosign for insane rallycross racing

The following paragraph discusses the importance of exercise and physical activity for maintaining good health and improving overall well-being. Regular exercise is not only beneficial for physical health but also has positive effects on mental and emotional health.

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone will enter the UFC Hall of Fame in International Fight Week. Cowboy will focus on an acting career after retirement, and his latest film, Mojave Diamonds, was released to negative reviews from the critics. Despite the failure, Cowboy has moved on to another venture, this time teaming up with Dana White for rally cross racing.

Dana White took to Twitter to excite the racing event featuring Cerrone. He said, “What’s up, guys? Cowboy is racing today live and free on Rumble. You can check it out. For the people who tune in, shoot the QR code on the TV screen on Rumble.” White promoted the event on his Twitter handle. It was nice to see the UFC President come to the support of his former fighter.

Since defeating Al Iaquinta in May 2019, Cowboy did not secure a victory again till his retirement in July 2022. He fell off his prime and could not compete against top-ranked and journeymen fighters. Cerrone lost six out of his last seven bouts, one being a no-contest. Fight fans felt sad seeing their favorite fighter retiring like that. This year, the UFC decided to induct Cerrone into the Hall of Fame for his achievements inside the octagon.

On the other hand, Dana White has continuously promoted various events on his social media handle. He is the greatest promoter in combat sports history and partners with younger-generation talents like the NELK Boys and Adin Ross to reach newer audiences. He teamed up with Ross for gambling in a casino and continues to collaborate with the NELK Boys for various ventures outside the UFC.

The last four years of Cerrone’s career did not go as planned. He did not win a bout since 2019 and lost embarrassingly till his retirement. Dana White convinced Cerrone to consider retirement after a string of bad performances.

White told the media, “He fought back, he’s tough, he’s durable. I love ‘Cowboy,’ and I know this is going to f*cking crush him and break his heart, but it’s time to have a conversation with him.” This was in reference to the majority draw he had with Niko Price.

Cowboy fought two more times after his bout with Price. He lost via stoppages in both of those bouts. Cerrone retired after losing to Jim Miller at UFC 276. He was one of the fighters who could step up quickly to fight against anyone.
