As the new year begins, UFC CEO Dana White faces a dull and sad start. Reports indicate that his prized PBR bull, Twisted Steel, has tragically passed away. Known for his passion for Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and bullfighting, this loss undoubtedly holds deep significance for the UFC CEO.
White jumped into the bull-riding circuit back in 2016 with ‘Stank Face’ before moving on to ‘F-Bomb.’ Both bulls have since retired from competition. However, Steel was definitely the biggest superstar of White, which justifies White’s condition. PBR CEO took to X to share the news which later went viral.
Dana White also took to social media to show his respect and grief for losing his beloved bull. Twisted Steel had an impressive 87% buck-off percentage, sending riders packing the bulk of the time. His average buck-off time was just 3.04 seconds to be exact, which is basically enough time for a rider to get thrown in the air.
Some sad news to begin the new year. After dealing with an ongoing health issue, @danawhite‘s Twisted Steel has passed away peacefully in Texas.

Twisted Steel was transported by Dennis Davis, White’s partner, who first crossed paths with him in 2016. At the time, White was traveling across the country and decided to ride a bull. He managed to stay in the bull for around 3 seconds and absolutely fell in love with it.
Dana White describes his love for bullfighting
Bullfighting has been a popular sport, especially in South West America for a long time now. Influenced by Mexican and Spanish traditions, the Rodeo has attracted new eyes from all around the world. The sport highlights the dangerous skill of cowboys taming powerful and wild animals.
Muck like UFC, requires a strong belief for the riders to get inside the arena. Dana White has always been a fan of such daring sports and his love for bullfighting was quite natural. In an interview, he explained in detail his views about bullfighting.
White was extremely happy when he purchased Twisted Steel but now their partnership has come to an end. Other than bullfighting, White also has several other interests such as gambling, placing bets on boxing, NASCAR, etc. It would be interesting how the UFC CEO makes his comeback to the world of PBR.
