Netflix boxing event update: Mike Tyson, Jake Paul, Katie Taylor, and Amanda Serrano receive suspension
Mike Tyson and Jake Paul have both received identical suspensions from boxing following their eight-round fight last Friday. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) oversees and sanctioned the event. They issued a mandatory minimum medical suspension of 24 days from the date of the fight.
According to MMA Junkie, the suspension covers both sparring and boxing. This means that neither fighter is allowed to train in the gym by boxing with another fighter until at least December 9th. Itโs worth noting that medical suspensions are quite common. In fact, the TLDR has also issued suspensions to other boxers on the seven-fight card on Netflix, including Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor.
