Dana White is not happy with Kelvin Gastelum. ‘KG’ won his fight in Saudi Arabia but missed weight, and this was not the first time. The UFC CEO recently expressed his disappointment at the post-fight press conference.

Dana White addressed Gastelum’s situation after a successful first event in Saudi Arabia. A reporter asked the UFC head honcho if Kelvin Gastelum would return to welterweight or stay in the middleweight division.

I don’t know. I’m not thrilled with Kelvin Gastelum right now. This guy’s missed weight like three times in his career… It’s extremely disappointing.

‘KG’ vs. Daniel Rodriguez was supposed to be a welterweight fight. However, after the ‘TUF 17’ winner missed weight, their matchup was moved up to middleweight. The fight went the distance but Gastelum won the fight via unanimous decision. He was not present at the post-fight press conference in Saudi Arabia. ‘KG’ later revealed on Instagram that he was sent to the hospital for medical checks.

Dana White addresses Conor McGregor’s potential return to UFC

Conor McGregor is the UFC’s biggest superstar. McGregor has been away from the octagon for nearly three years now. UFC 303 was his highly awaited return fight against Michael Chandler. However, last-minute injuries destroyed all plans, and now ‘The Nototrious’s comeback is at a stall.

The injury in question is a broken pinky toe. As such, McGregor faced flack from fighters such as Ilia Topuria and Islam Makhachev. They believe McGregor has gone soft and that one doesn’t need the pinky toe to fight.

Conor McGregor recently did an interview with Severe MMA. In that interview, the Irishman hinted at potentially returning by August. When reporters asked Dana White about this at the post-fight press conference at UFC Saudi Arabia, this is how the CEO responded:

I don’t know right now… What about September? What about October? He’s not ready. So why even talk about that?

He said he would not do anything until he knew McGregor was healthy. In such circumstances, the UFC CEO said that it is not even worth talking about. Moreover, McGregor has vowed never to fight with an injury ever again. It will be interesting to see when the UFC gets its biggest star to step back into the octagon.
