UFC CEO, Dana White is facing accusations from none other than UFC featherweight contender Movsar Evloev. The Russian fighter claimed that White was more focused on an American football game he had bet on than Evloev’s fight against Arnold Allen at UFC 297.

Movsar Evloev was recently present on the Badaev Podcast. He revealed some juicy behind-the-scenes details about his last fight. Evloev said that he got the information that White was watching football rather than his fight at UFC 297. He had bet on the football game and was keeping track of the game.

Then for some reason, Dana said that [my last fight was not fun]. Maybe he wanted to stimulate me somehow or dampen my championship ambitions a little…Then we talked with Dan Lambert after the fight… he said ‘Movsar, I was sitting next to Dana White during your fight and he was watching American Football.’ He apparently placed a bet somewhere on the time of my fight.

Evloev’s fight against Arnold Allen ended in a split-decision victory for the Russian. Dana White was asked about Evloev vs. Allen at the post-fight press conference. He stated that this was one of the most boring fights on the card. This statement did not sit well with the undefeated Evloev.

The allegations levied by Evloev against White remain unconfirmed. But White is known for being big in gambling. But in this case, fight fans may never know the truth behind the accusations. Evloev is a potential title challenger in the featherweight division. The undefeated fighter from Ingushetia continues to climb the ranks of the featherweight division.

Movsar Evloev agrees to fight Aljamain Sterling

The featherweight division just got a lot more interesting. Rising Russian contender Movsar Evloev recently revealed that he had agreed to face former bantamweight king Aljamain Sterling. Sterling had also called out Evloev.

Speaking on a recent podcast, the undefeated Evloev didn’t mince words about his willingness to fight Sterling. He revealed that the UFC was also interested in making the fight happen. Evloev stated that this fight would potentially be in August of this year. This is however unofficial as no news about this has come from the UFC or Dana White.

This fight would probably be fully wrestling-centric as both the fighters have excellent wrestling skills. It would pit two premier martial artists against each other in what could be a grueling grapplefest. Sterling recently outpointed Calvin Kattar in his featherweight debut at UFC 300. A victory over a name like Sterling would certainly help further his ambition to become the champion.
