SUGA REACTS TO EVERYONE CALLING HIM OUT (Umar Nurmagomedov vs Cory Sandhagen / Deiveson Figueiredo)

As the UFC bantamweight king, Sean O’Malley is under the radar of all the top fighters in the division. With his win at UFC Abu Dhabi, Umar Nurmagomedov has called out O’Malley for a title fight. While ‘Suga’ is interested in the fight, his motivation for the bout has something to do with Conor McGregor.

Sean O’Malley wanted to recreate the infamous rivalry between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor. In a recent YouTube video, while reacting to UFC Abu Dhabi, O’Malley mentioned that he would definitely fight Nurmagomedov. According to the champ, after winning against the Dagestani, he can rub it off on McGregor.

Undefeated Umar [18-0] vs. undefeated ‘Suga’ [19-0], beat a Dagestani? I wouldn’t mind that. That would be a real good was to get at Conor McGregor. Oh, imagine how jealous he would be? I might go through Umar just for that! Could be a massive potential next fight.

The beef between Sean O’Malley and McGregor has been going on for some time. According to O’Malley, he’s still a fan of McGregor but doesn’t really respect him like he used to do. Recently, ‘Suga’ even called the former double champion a steroid abuser and mentally weak. By beating Umar Nurmagomedov, O’Malley can do what McGregor failed to achieve against Khabib Nurmagomedov.

O’Malley is currently scheduled to fight Merab Dvalishvili, which will take place at the iconic Las Vegas Sphere. Going into the fight, the hype is humongous, and the champion is the betting underdog. If he manages to defend his belt at Noche UFC, the next in line is undeniably Umar Nurmagomedov.

During an interview after the fight, the ‘Eagle’ revealed that he was impressed by Nurmagomedov’s performance as the challenger was a tough one. According to the UFC Hall of Famer, the ‘Young Eagle’ is ready to fight Sean O’Malley.

I think he’s ready. With title fights, you never know what’s gonna happen. This is a very big fight, very big competition. Sean O’Malley is the champion. He’s very good opponent. If UFC decides, I think Umar is ready.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s reputation as a coach increased further with Umar’s win. Currently, Team Khabib is looking unstoppable. If Umar wins the belt, the team will have two champions, including Islam Makhachev. It would be interesting to see what other fighters will do to stop the Dagestani dominance in the sport.
