UFC CEO Dana White’s relationship with the MMA media is often one of light-hearted, lively disposition. He usually keeps a keen eye on the happenings around him. White recently weighed in on two prominent MMA journos prepping to lock horns in a bare-knuckle bout. One of them – Oscar Willis, has close ties to consensus superstar Conor McGregor. The reaction emulated the curiosity of many MMA fans.
The clash between the two personalities of the MMA media has attracted a great deal of attention. It is due to the novelty of seeing reporters switch from micsmen to gloves to exchange punches. During Dana White’s Contender Series 75 (DWCS) post-fight conference interviews, the head honcho gave his thoughts:

Oscar Willis is infamous for his work with ‘The Mac Life’ (@TheMacLife) — a combat sports site with prime coverage centered around Conor McGregor. Ben Davis, aka ‘The Bane’, a commentator with DAZN and Misfits Boxing, is also a respectable figure.
They will meet on October 12 at Marbella Arena, Malaga, Spain. McGregor recently appeared as an equity part-owner and even co-hosted the BKFC Spain conference in Marbella. As a media member suggested, the fight will stream live on YouTube.

The BKFC debut in Spain will be broadcast on Triller TV. Willis recently claimed that he will have UFC lightweight contender Dan Hooker in his corner for the fight. He also stressed that while he predicted an entertaining contest, it would be chaotic, with both media members pressing to win.
The BKFC will be hosting an interesting card opener from Marbella, Spain, on the 12th of October. Two members of the MMA media will subsequently be fighting against each other in an epic candid one-of-a-kind clash. The lightweight amateur bout is between The Mac Life’s Oscar Willis and commentator and on-air personality Ben Davis.
Both men have additionally fought before, but this will be their first time in the ring bare-knuckle boxing. The scope of it is an exciting one for the entire media community and MMA clique. Oscar Stephens-Willis, content manager for Mac Life, Conor McGregor’s MMA news outlet, has a single pro-MMA outing in 2022. Accordingly, he has been angsty in taking the fight to other media counterparts.
Willis competed in and won an MMA fight at the 2022 Tuff-N-Uff, even taking his opponent to the ground. Meanwhile, Davis has participated in some exhibition fights, including a grappling match, a boxing match on MF & DAZN X Series 9, and Karate Combat. He won at Karate Combat; however, he lost the rest.
Oddsmakers have Willis as a -300 heavy favorite and Davis as a +240 underdog. The bout will be the first fight on the card and will begin at 1 P.M. ET live on DAZN. It marks quite a foray of “practice what you preach” for MMA media entities. Who knows: maybe it’s Ariel Helwani venting his issues on Dana White with a high-stake karate clash next! God knows The MMA Guru would have some things to work out.
