There are currently several developments in the life of the Notorious Conor McGregor. The once-focused and driven fighter is undergoing a s*xual assault trial at the Dublin High Court. As the trial reaches its closing stages, the arguments have become intense. A few hours ago, both Nikita Hand’s and Conor McGregor’s attorneys presented their final remarks on the trial.

McGregor and another man, James Lawrence, face s*xual assault accusations in a lawsuit filed by Nikita Hand. The victim has alleged the two men had sex with her without her consent while she was intoxicated in 2018. Hand alleges the incident took place in a hotel after a long night of partying. While criminal charges weren’t fully pursued, the victim filed a civil lawsuit in early 2021.

Both Conor McGregor and Nikita Hand’s attorneys had one final opportunity to persuade the jury during their closing arguments for the trial. McGregor’s attorney, Remy Farrell, went first and urged the jury to base their decision on the evidence. Instead of their personal opinions of McGregor. Farrell emphasized Hand’s inconsistent memory of the events.

He also pointed out the surveillance footage, which contradicted her account of her interactions with the other accused. Afterward, Hand’s attorney, John Gordon, took the floor and reiterated his client’s allegations of being forcefully r*ped. He referred to testimony from medical professionals who indicated Hand’s condition was one of the worst they had ever encountered.

Gordon highlighted Dr. Ann Leader’s testimony, which stated that Hand suffered from PTSD as a result of the incident. The victim’s attorney mentioned the bruising present on Hand, as well as the tampon that was lodged inside her v*gina. Following that, Gordon called McGregor a “liar” and a ”coward.” However, an unbothered McGregor is currently reacting to fellow UFC fighters’ activities.

However, due to some delays, that fight never materialized after the UFC 303 mishap. After his defeat at UFC 309, Chandler even called out McGregor again. It will be interesting to see how the dynamic between these two fighters develops in the future.
