Conor McGregor recently sent out a tweet on X. The tweet addressed Khabib Nurmagomedov and his ongoing and quite public situation with the Russian government. As per the latest reports, Russian tax authorities have seized all assets of the former UFC champion over unpaid debt. McGregor seemed quite entertained at this as he sent out a couple of tweets on X.

The comment on “pushups for cash” is a callback to Nurmagomedov’s controversial moment back in 2018. ‘The Eagle’ faced criticism after a video surfaced showing him and his group laughing while paying a homeless man to do push-ups on the street. The incident sparked controversy and attracted significant backlash online.

‘The Notorious’s trolling continued as he sent out a couple of tweets. One of them was McGregor alleging in jest that the former UFC champion was now a ‘porta potty’ in Dubai. There have been no comments from ‘The Eagle’ yet. Team Khabib had earlier denied such allegations when the rumors of the tax mishap first emerged.

He wrote that during tests Khabib’s gym would hand in random clean person’s urine instead of those of fighters that were supposed to be tested. He also revealed how he had allegedly given the Dagestani an advantage by fighting with a broken foot when they clashed back in 2018.

If Nurmagomedov does decide to return, a rematch with McGregor would break all known records in the history of the UFC.
