Conor McGregor, the UFC’s famous Irish fighter, is back in the spotlight. This time, it’s not for his antics outside the octagon but for his dedication inside the gym. The former two-division champion recently shared a video showcasing a party scenario, but McGregor seemed to have his priorities straight.

Conor McGregor posted a video on his social media of himself training in the gym. He revealed an ongoing party in his backyard late at night. Nevertheless, the ‘Notorious’ had other things on his mind. He was training hard for his eventual return to the UFC after nearly three years.

McGregor recently had to pull out of his much-anticipated bout against Michael Chandler, scheduled at UFC 303. This was due to him getting injured. Now, with UFC 303 in hindsight, the fighter is focused on the future. His return to the hallowed octagon will most definitely be a spectacle. The party-loving fighter’s training footage is a nod that he would be back sooner than later.

Conor McGregor last fought in the UFC back in 2021 against Dustin Poirier. He lost the fight due to his leg getting injured. His new opponent, Michael Chandler, met the same opponent, just around a year later. He also lost the fight. Now, these two are on the verge of headlining possibly one of the biggest cards the UFC has ever seen.

Conor McGregor is arguably the biggest star the UFC has ever had. As such, he remains in the spotlight, whether he is fighting or not. His health has become a topic of debate lately. However, McGregor silenced all these rumors with his recently uploaded short video of himself.

The former two-division champion recently shared a short clip on social media. In it, he’s shadowboxing, hinting at a possible comeback. The toe injury had caused speculations that McGregor may eventually retire without facing Michael Chandler. It turns out the shadowboxing video put a stop to those rumors. It showcased that he was fit enough to move around and get back to training.

McGregor’s absence has left a McGregor-shaped hole in the UFC’s entertainment factor. But this video suggested that he was itching to fill that void again. His UFC 303 fight was already on its way to becoming arguably the highest PPV card in UFC history, but fate had other plans. Meanwhile, Michael Chandler’s been patiently waiting for his shot at McGregor. Chandler’s gamble could pay off if McGregor’s ready by September, but that remains to be seen.
