With a four-fight winning streak to brag, Buckley targeted big names in the division. Recently, Shavkat Rakhmonov responded to Buckley.

Rakhmonov is one of the scariest fighters in the division, with a 100% finish rate. One rumored matchup had Rakhmonov facing Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 305 in Perth, Australia. However, Maddalena suffered a gruesome injury, and Buckley jumped to call out Rakhmonov. The reply from the Kazhakh fighter was savage, to say the least.

Buckley had called out Conor McGregor after his recent victory at UFC St. Louis, garnering much criticism. Afterward, Buckley dissed Daniel Cormier, Chael Sonnen, and Michael Bisping for their criticism, which made Cormier threaten the welterweight.

Buckley had earlier called out Gilbert Burns but stated Burns already had a fight scheduled. Funnily enough, Burns revealed he had no idea of what Buckley meant. Nonetheless, Buckley had recently turned down a fight against Ian Garry at UFC 303 on short notice.
