We were talking about it, actually, whether we could race together in Le Mans – with Charles,” he said. “I would do it. It’s just the calendar of F1 nowadays doesn’t allow much flexibility,” he continued.
When it comes to the current Formula 1 grid, Fernando Alonso and Nico Hulkenberg are the only drivers who have won LeMans. Many others on the grid such as Max Verstappen have expressed their interest to race in LeMans. With Ferrari’s recent triumph in LeMans, the urge from their F1 pilots to compete has just increased ten fold.
