Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc haven’t had the best of luck when it has come to the car and the team decisions when it comes to their performances in 2023. It’s been a tough year for Ferrari so far. After their failed attempt to challenge for the crown in 2022, the team seems to have fallen even more behind this season. Speaking to Viaplay in Canada, here is what Carlos Sainz had to say. “It was an incredible feat by the team. We are all very proud of what we achieved [winning the 24 hours of Le Mans]. We were talking about it, actually, whether we could race together in Le Mans – with Charles,” he said. “I would do it. It’s just the calendar of F1 nowadays doesn’t allow much flexibility,” he continued.

When it comes to the current Formula 1 grid, Fernando Alonso and Nico Hulkenberg are the only drivers who have won LeMans. Many others on the grid such as Max Verstappen have expressed their interest to race in LeMans.
