“Bruh got my vote” – Kamala Harris’ VP pick Tim Walz garners support from NBA fans for ‘Naz Reid’ appreciation months ago

The United States presidential election is slowly taking form after current President, Joe Biden withdrew from the race. With Kamala Harris leading the charge, the nation waited to see who she would take along with her as her Vice President candidate. Much to the excitement of citizens, Minnesota Governor, Tim Walz will be in the race. But his nomination has brought cheers from the NBA community for a specific reason.

Fans of the game went back to May 5th this year when the Minnesota Timberwolves were battling it out in the NBA playoffs. After the first game against the Denver Nuggets, Walz sent out this tweet from his official X account.

It was an appreciation post for the former undrafted player whose points off the bench helped his state’s NBA franchise get one over the then-defending champions. A statement that showed that as a governor, he was actively a part of the celebrations alongside his people.

Even predicting just like a true fan of the franchise how many games they will take to win the series. It goes to show that the new Vice President candidate is a man who shares the joy of sports with others.
