When the week rolled in, nobody guessed that Ryan Garcia would be in deeper waters than he usually is. Fresh off a decision victory over Devin Haney, Garcia was well off. Then came the news that Garcia tested positive for PEDs for his DAZN Exclusive WBC super-lightweight frame. Conor McGregor, who showered his support to the boxer, retaliated bizarrely. Now, ‘King Ry’ fires back.

A Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) letter taken by ESPN said Ryan Garcia tested positive for the “Ostarine” PED. The 140-pound contender went testing the day before and on the day of his DAZN Exclusive WBC super-lightweight headliner in Brooklyn, NY. Garcia had incurred violent warnings from McGregor. Now, ‘King Ry’ fired back with the same intensity.

If I see Connor McGregor …I’m going to break your weak a** ankle …You ran from being tested bc you were on Roids …Roadhouse or ROIDRAGE …FUDGE CONNOR CACA BRAIN

At the time, it wasn’t specific if this was a skit by ‘The Notorious,’ who is well known in combat sports cultures as an avid MMA promoter and entrepreneur. Case in point, during the BKFC “KnuckleMania 4” Live broadcast, he mentioned purchasing part-ownership stakes in BKFC. Hence, his jabs at Garcia and Sean O’Malley seemed to promote a multi-stardom sparring event. He even offered up his Black Forge Inn premises in his callout.

Conor Mcgregor also has the habitual strain of scuffling with everybody, like Joe Rogan, Dustin Poirier, and Team Khabib. Now, the warnings from Garcia (25-1, 20 KO) shed a grave light on the matter. While this may still turn out to be a lighthearted quip and callouts to promote something, nothing is certain. As of yet, this is turning out to be quite the storyline.

Did Ryan Garcia take performance enhancers? The Pro-Garcia and Scorn-Garcia views

Ryan Garcia woke up on April 20 as a massive underdog, with the world still believing he was off his rockers. However, ‘King Ry’ stunned the world greatly by defeating WBC super lightweight champ Devin Haney. Garcia ultimately outshone the rival to a points game (115-109, 114-110, and 112-112) and broke his previously undefeated record.

However, a Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) letter stated that he was on PEDs. ESPN later also reported that he screened positive for the steroid 19-Norandrosterone. They couldn’t obtain a confirmation from VADA, though. In light of that, UFC superstar Conor McGregor lambasted the pro boxer and lauded Haney for going toe-to-toe with the “weight bully.”

It seemed odd coming from the fighter, given he overtly touts his weed-fueled adventures once in a while. McGregor also invoked peer Sean O’Malley in a fiery callout, along with Garcia. ‘Suga’ and Garcia have long aspired for a crossover stint, indicating a build-up. But now, with Garcia retorting back, things seem dire.

McGregor’s fiery callouts sting, given he had supported Garcia against substance abuse insinuations from the fanbase. Garcia later posted his thoughts on X, denying such claims. He also mentioned that the controversial Victor Conte heads VADA and is a close acquaintance of Haney. Often prone to calling out Bohemian Grove and Hollywood heathen Elites, Garcia called attention to this. All in all, he thinks such claims were engineered to undermine his win.
