In a recent development in the Renukaswamy murder case, Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and his alleged lover Pavithra Gowda were denied bail. This decision came after a total of six individuals, including Darshan and Pavithra, approached the court seeking relief, with only two of them being granted bail.

As reported by India Today, a sessions court in Bengaluru refused bail to the actors, as well as to accused Nagaraj and Lakshman. However, accused Ravishankar and Deepak were granted bail in the same case.

During the bail hearing, the accused’s legal team argued that the eyewitnesses in the case were manipulated by the police. Despite their efforts, the court ruled against Darshan and Pavithra, prompting them to consider approaching the High Court for further legal recourse.

For those unfamiliar with the case, Kannada star Darshan Thoogudeepa and actress Pavithra Gowda are currently behind bars, facing allegations of involvement in Renukaswamy’s murder. The 33-year-old, said to be a devoted fan of Darshan, was reportedly killed by the actor and his rumored lover due to inappropriate messages sent to Pavithra.

Following the incident, Darshan, Pavithra, and several others were taken into custody by the authorities, with Darshan being named as the second accused in the case. Speculations suggest that Pavithra may have influenced Darshan to commit the heinous act.
