UFC CEO Dana White made a name for himself by building a $2 million promotion to a multi-billion dollar company. However, he is not devoid of controversies. White was a recent guest on Bill Maher‘s podcast, where he talked about a lot of things. Some have appeared to rub ex-UFC lightweight Gray Maynard the wrong way.
White has not endorsed any political party but is a close friend of Donald Trump. Moreover, he has often sided with conservative views rather than liberal beliefs. After all, his recent joke at The Roast of Tom Brady was against the liberals. As such, White was skeptical of men’s feelings and mental health on Club Random with Bill Maher.

Two-time UFC lightweight title challenger Gray Maynard doesn’t believe a single word White talked about to Maher. Maynard criticized white in his recent tweet, criticizing Dana White for the various alleged character flaws the UFC CEO has.

Maynard fought twice for the UFC lightweight title, both against Frankie Edgar. He drew with Edgar the first time and lost the second title fight. Maynard had defeated Edgar before the latter was the champion, and the trilogy is one of the best in UFC history. Nonetheless, Maynard doesn’t appear to have love towards the CEO of his ex-company.
Gray Maynard skeptical of Dana White’s power and influence
Gray Maynard was one of the scariest fighters to compete in the UFC’s lightweight division. However, after he lost the trilogy fight against Frankie Edgar, he lost his form and ultimately retired after UFC 229, headlined by Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Maynard also questioned the veracity of White’s interaction with Whitely Bulgar‘s right-hand man. He doesn’t believe White had a big role to play in the success of the UFC. For Mayard, the Fertitta brothers were the reason for the success.
