In a candid conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Ananya shared that Alanna and Ivor are influencers who document their daily lives through vlogs. She felt they were the perfect muses for her portrayal of Nella Awasthi in CTRL. Ananya mentioned that while there are many influencers out there, her cousin and her husband stand out as couple bloggers.
“They chronicle everything—from their initial meeting to their wedding, to Alanna’s pregnancy, and the journey with their baby,” the Gehraiyaan star remarked. By observing them on their YouTube channel, Ananya gained valuable insights into the challenges of being a public figure, where one’s life is scrutinized even more than that of an actor.
Ananya also revealed that comedian Sumukhi Suresh, who has a deep understanding of the influencer world, was part of the writing team for CTRL.
