Francis Ngannou recently sat down for a conversation on the JAXXON podcast. During his discussion with Rampage Jackson, ‘Rampage’ asked Ngannou if he would consider bringing Jon Jones in as a training partner now that they may never fight in the octagon. ‘The Predator’ revealed that it is not the case.

Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou never fought due to a combination of financial disputes, contract negotiations, and timing issues. Jon Jones wanted a substantial pay increase to move up to heavyweight and fight Ngannou. The UFC and Jones could not agree on terms. Meanwhile, Ngannou had his own contract issues with the UFC, expressing dissatisfaction with his pay and seeking better terms.
