Today, October 10, marked a solemn day as Aamir Khan and his ex-wife Kiran Rao made their way to the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) lawns at Nariman Point to bid farewell to the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group, Ratan Tata. A poignant video captured the ex-couple standing with folded hands and bowed heads, paying their respects to the esteemed individual who has left us.

As they prepared to leave, Aamir took a moment to share his thoughts with the gathered media. His voice filled with sorrow as he reflected on Tata’s invaluable contributions to the nation. "Today is a very sorrowful day for all of us. The contributions that Ratan ji and the TATA company have made to the country, both before him and under his leadership, are priceless. He was a rare and exceptional individual, and we will all deeply miss him," Aamir expressed.

Kiran Rao, too, expressed her sadness at the loss of such an incredible soul. Recalling their past interactions, she described Tata as an "amazing" person and lamented the passing of a true humanitarian. "He was a good person, so it is truly heartbreaking to see him go. But he has done so much for our nation that we can only offer our respects," she added, folding her hands in reverence.

In addition to Aamir and Kiran, numerous prominent figures from the political and industrial realms gathered to pay their final respects to the industrialist. Ratan Tata breathed his last on Wednesday at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
