Bobby Green does not care if he has to fight back-to-back UFC events, he is ready to fight anytime, anywhere. ‘King’ recently made an interesting proposition on Instagram, ahead of his upcoming fight against Paddy Pimblett at UFC 304.

Bobby Green recently sent out an Instagram story. There he tagged the UFC, talking about how he wants to fight in Australia at UFC 305, weeks after his showdown with Pimblett at UFC 304.

My plans are to fight Paddy and if I can, if the UFC let me, I want to fight in Perth, too.

Green will fight Paddy Pimblett this July at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England. The showdown in Perth is weeks later in August. Green would be there anyway supporting Alex Reyes in his lightweight showdown against Tom Nolan. ‘King’ said he might as well fight and is ready to take on Dan Hooker who he heard was looking for a fight.

However, he has one condition. He needs the UFC to figure out the taxes for him because ‘King’ does not want to give up $90,000 in taxes to Australia. His last fight was in April at UFC 300 which he won by unanimous decision.

Paddy Pimblett challenges Bobby Green to grapple him at UFC 304

Paddy Pimblett and Bobby Green have gone back and forth with each other for a while now. They finally get to settle their dispute a few weeks from now. However, the Liverpudlian has a challenge for the ranked lightweight.

Pimblett recently uploaded a video on his YouTube channel. In that video, the Liverpudlian called out Green for some saying that anybody can knock anyone out with a lucky punch. Pimblett called him out on this challenging ‘King’ to grapple with him if he had the guts to do so.

Grapple with me then, lad. Back your word up. We both know that you can strike even though you’ve got no power…Grapple with me. Let’s see if you’ve got the b*lls to grapple with me.

Paddy Pimblett holds a black belt in BJJ and has been training in grappling since his teenage years. He has a high submission rate. However, his KO victory over Johnny Frachey to win the Cage Warriors title is a prime example of his skills on the feet.

Meanwhile, Bobby Green is primarily known for his striking. While Green has some grappling skills, they are more defensive in nature. Green’s relative lack of offensive grappling and submission skills is a notable gap in his game. It will be interesting to see how all this culminates in the octagon at UFC 304 this July.
