Jorge Masvidal got out of the UFC last year. After losing his last fight in the promotion, ‘Gamebred’ decided to hang up his gloves and explore the boxing sphere. The former BMF even fought Nate Diaz in a recent showdown in the ring. However, that is not enough. ‘Gamebred wants to take on Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather next.

Jorge Masvidal recently did an interview with Michael Bisping. In that interview, Masvidal revealed that he had plans to fight Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul in the future, and his team was on it to make it happen.

I’m thinking, uh, Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul. That’s what I’m thinking; that’s what my people are thinking, trying to do. And, um, those matches that you mentioned right there—great fighters, you know, they’re great fighters. Um, so I wouldn’t mind those matches.

Floyd Mayweather retired from professional boxing a while back but has remained active in exhibition fights. He even fought Logan Paul back in 2021. Meanwhile, Logan Paul announced his retirement from boxing with a record of 1-1, after beating Dillon Danis last year to fully commit to his career in the WWE.

As for his match against Nate Diaz, the former UFC rivals engaged in an exciting ten-round boxing showdown. The Stockton native walked away with the win over Masvidal via majority decision. ‘Gamebred’ thought he won the fight, claiming that he definitely landed the “way, way better shots.’’

Jorge Masvidal was already an MMA star before he got into the UFC. His days from backyard fighting in Miami with Kimbo Slice and others really paid off in the long run. However, coming up it was not easy for the fighter from Miami.

Gamebred reflected upon it in a recent interview with Michael Bisping. He talked about how it was a struggle to do anything because of monetary constraints. He also talked about how important of a role ‘God’ played in his life. The Miami native believes God helped him out in tight corners for him to reach the level where he is right now.

Jiu Jitsu gyms especially back in the day were like $ 300 a month, I can’t pay that s*** and then you need to go weightlifting gym. Just money wise, it was out of the picture for me like I can’t even afford this you know.

Now, Masvidal is worth about $6 million and also has his own fighting promotion. He is still under contract with the UFC and is one of the starfighters from the promotion. It will be interesting to see where the 39-year-old MMA superstar takes his career from here.
