Jorge Masvidal has already retired from the UFC. However, that retirement may not stick for long. The former BMF has revealed in an interview with Michael Bisping that he is just three fights away from making a comeback to the UFC. This was ahead of his boxing match against Nate Diaz.
Jorge Masvidal recently sat down for a conversation with Michael Bisping on Bisping’s YouTube channel. While he retired last year, the former BMF title holder is still under contract with the UFC. During their discussion, ‘Gamebred’ revealed that one of the conditions that the UFC let him fight Nate Diaz in their upcoming boxing match was if he came back and did a fight in the UFC.
They said one of the conditions is that I come back and do one fight for them in the UFC. So that’s the plan, come back, definitely do another fight. From there, check the landscape out, see if I’m staying in the UFC or more than likely, I’ll be coming back to boxing.

Masvidal also commented on the current state of the UFC’s welterweight division and believes it lacks something. According to Masvidal, that lack is none other than the ‘Gamebred’ himself in “tip-top shape”, and putting on some great fights. However, before that happens, Masvidal has to settle the score with Nate Diaz in the boxing ring.
The two will fight in a few hours in Anaheim, California. Masvidal previously fought Diaz back in 2019 in a main-event showdown at UFC 244. Now they will set things straight in the ring in a 10-round boxing match. However, this is not the only boxing match Jorge Masvidal is interested in.

During the interview with Michael Bisping on his YouTube channel, ‘Gamebred’ also mentioned other prominent names he would like to take on in the ring. Some of them were – Floyd Mayweather, Logan Paul, BKFC star Mike Perry, and UFC’s former contender Darren Till.

Masvidal had already defeated Till back in 2019 at UFC London. As for Mike Perry, the Miami native is ready to make a “huge fight” in the future. Perry is making his boxing debut fighting Jake Paul later this month. Meanwhile, Till has been focusing more and more on boxing. It will be interesting to see where Jorge Masvidal’s career leads him, now that he is almost in his forties.
