Former UFC interim lightweight champion and all-around “good guy” Dustin Poirier keeps to certain values. However, he isn’t afraid to put his ‘war’ cap on when provoked. He might just find renewed ammunition to do so. Currently, Conor McGregor unleashed a cryptic tweet-and-delete on Poirier and his family late Tuesday night.
‘The Diamond’ is a consensus boxing-heavy phenom in MMA. Ask Conor McGregor; even recently, Poirier touted his win over him as the last fight ballot appearance of ‘Mac’ given his UFC 300 PPV pullout. However, despite his striking prowess, he has been in limited street fights. Here’s what Poirier once said about being in a street fight in a sitdown with comedian Theo Von:

Consequently, as luck would have it — Dustin Poirier and Mardi Gras do not mix well. Last year, during the Mardi Gras Parade in Youngsville, LA, he was subjected to classless signage from a bystander. This happened while his wife and daughter were in tow.

Now that the reel is getting viral again, the Irishman took it upon himself to fire back. McGregor recently pulled out of the June 29 card at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas due to a substantial injury. Poirier had taken free shots, reminding McGregor about the last loss. Perhaps their beef would never subside. This would be the usual ‘Notorious’ way of taking a dig back. Consequently, it was not his only diss of the night.

The MMA community has, time after again, accused McGregor of using cocaine. The suspicion comes after the Irishman disses certain personalities on social media at times. Dustin Poirier and his wife caught the fire from the Irishman. It didn’t stop there as he also took jabs at Khabib Nurmagomedov.

During their UFC 229 press conference in New York, he had blamed Ali Abdelaziz on the clutch of being a “terror*st snitch.” Abdelaziz had a chapter with the New York Police Department’s Deputy Commissioner, being one of their highest-paying covert agents. He was later forbidden to leave domestic soil when caught using fake credentials.

Khabib, a devout Muslim, took to IG to respond to his criticism, saying that his brothers would never swoop this low. The post followed a boot-to-face imagery. Now, McGregor alludes to Islamic fighters and alleged terror activities once again, pointing out this exists.
