Nothing sells more than Conor McGregor in the MMA business. As anticipated, McGregorā€™s decision to withdraw his name from UFC 303 has generated a lot of buzz in recent days. Several experts have shared their opinions on the subject with Chael Sonnen having the wildest theory.

Chael Sonnen recently did his ESPN Show, Good Guy Bad Guy with UFC legend Daniel Cormier. During the conversation, the pair delved into Conor McGregorā€™s injury. Surprisingly, Sonnen went on a rant and revealed that McGregor is not injured but instead is in the middle of rehab.

McGregorā€™s not hurt. I donā€™t know if weā€™re making TV here, how much weā€™re supposed to play alongā€¦..What incredible irony that both sides have these massive interests in alcohol and one side is in the middle of rehab for substance abuse, including alcohol.

Given that McGregor has a history of frequent drinking and partying, Sonnenā€™s theory does hold some merit. The fighter recently made headlines when he was seen dancing in a pub instead of training. However, in a recent Instagram post, McGregor himself gave the fans an update on his injury.
