Jon Jones has not stopped trashing Tom Aspinall just yet. The heavyweight champion recently fought back, with fans on social media calling out Aspinall ahead of UFC 304. The interim heavyweight champion is stepping into a rematch with Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304. Jones commented on their previous fight and upcoming showdown while going back and forth with fans on social media.

Jon Jones recently barked back at a fan on X. A Tom Aspinall fan tweeted at Jones that he should fight Aspinall instead of tweeting as the interim champion would put him out in just three rounds. Jones uploaded the video of Aspinall vs. Blaydes 1 to prove a point.

I watched his fight against Curtis earlier today. Honestly, it was my first time seeing it. Your boy was getting that a** kicked. His knee blowing was the best thing that could’ve happened to him.

Jones supposedly learned over the years never to bet against American wrestlers. He wrote that he was going to laugh the hardest if Aspinall ends up losing. Interestingly, the first Tom Aspinall Vs Custis Blaydes matchup in 2022 lasted about 15 seconds. A user called Jones out on this, stating the match had barely started.

‘Bones’ wrote back, saying that in the short time the fight lasted, Aspinall lost almost every exchange. Curtis was apparently touching his chin from the moment the fight started. However, Jones was treading in deep waters as he received an ample amount of criticism from fans calling him out on his comments.

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones backed up his previous claim that Aspinall had lost almost every exchange. ‘Bones’ posted a clip of the first Aspinall vs Blaydes showdown on X. However, that did not help with the pushback from fans online. Users called him out for posting about Aspinall’s injury insensitively.

The heavyweight champion wrote that it was not about the injury but rather Aspinall getting punched in the face. ‘Bones’ stated that he was simply calling what he saw. The heavyweight champion wrote that he does not hop on the train and get hyped like everyone else. According to Jones, Aspinall has to stay around for a while and start breaking records. Only then is when he would get Jones’ full attention.

Interestingly, one user slowed down the clip Jon Jones posted. It showed that Custis Blaydes did not land any of the shots ‘Bones’ had claimed he did. Though Jones did not respond back, fans became intrigued for the rematch. It will be interesting to see how this rematch turns out at UFC 304 this July.
