Conor McGregor '100 percent playing Ryan Garcia card', reveals Michael Chandler teammate

The much anticipated mega event UFC 303 featuring Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler is potentially in jeopardy. The situation worsened after the Dublin press conference was called off.  However, Gilbert Burns feels McGregor has taken some inspiration from Ryan Garcia

Gilbert Burns and Michael Chandler train under Henri Hooft at the popular Kill Cliff FC gym. According to Chandler’s teammate, the McGregor fight will occur despite all the negativity. Burns interestingly mentioned that the ‘Notorious’ took some notes from Ryan Garcia’s book on playing possum.

I think he’ll pulling in the Ryan Garcia card. 100 percent.

Ahead of his fight with Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia put out a fake show and acted like he was losing his mind. The fighter missed the weight and even allegedly drank beer during the weigh-ins. Later, the fighter revealed that everything was just mind games and it actually helped him win over Haney.

This theory, however, is limited because, in contrast to Garcia, McGregor is not actively discussing the fight. The fact that UFC 303 is in just two weeks has many fans worried about the fight. This has now intensified following McGregor’s most recent Instagram story.

I think the more resistance you train with, the less movement and the more injury. But the less resistance you train with, the more movement and the less injury

Recently, popular reporter Ariel Helwani revealed that the positivity surrounding the fight has vastly diminished. With the speculations regarding McGregor vs. Chandler spreading like wildfire, the UFC has chosen to remain silent. Only time will tell the fate of the much-awaited UFC 303 main event.
