The video posted to social media by Sean Strickland showcased him being waterboarded. He can be seen lying on his back as someone pours water onto a cloth covering his face. His hands are tied up as the UFC star thrashes around, gasping for air before the clip abruptly ends.

Strickland decided to simulate waterboarding just a couple of weeks after his hard-fought split-decision victory over Paulo Costa at UFC 302. Waterboarding is a torture technique involving immobilizing a person and pouring water over their face to induce the sensation of drowning.
