It is indeed the end of an era in both basketball and football. As stars such as Aaron Rodgers and LeBron James approach the twilight of their careers, they continue to make the younger generation ponder as they are still performing at an elite level. Father time has aged as he seems to have become slow in getting to these two superstars.

Both LeBron James and Aaron Rodgers are on teams competitive enough to make one last championship run before they pull the curtains on their careers. NFL analyst Rich Eisen picked an interesting question to answer via The Rich Eisen Show wherein he revealed who amongst the two stars is likely to go out with another championship.

In the round of which “aging superstar is more likely to win a title before they retire?” Rich Eisen put his money on four-time NBA champion LeBron James to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to yet another successful championship run and win one more ring before he retires.

I’ll go LeBron…yeah I think so, they get Danny Hurley, I go LeBron.
Rich Eisen said

Assuming the Lakers land UConn MBB’s Dan Hurley as the next head coach, Eisen believes they will be able to win another chip.

Aaron Rodgers is in the best situation to win a Super Bowl since 2011 with the Jets

The New York Jets, on the other hand, have a great shot to make the Super Bowl this season. However, their aspirations remain contingent on the availability of Aaron Rodgers, who is returning from an Achilles injury.

The quarterback has never looked so motivated to head back into the finals since having made his only appearance in 2011. Rodgers won the Lombardi 13 years ago and this is, realistically, his last chance to make a run to win the Super Bowl. This season, perhaps, means a lot more to him than the NBA season means to LeBron James.

The reason is because he understands how integral it is for him to win another ring in order to cement his legacy. Besides, the hype surrounding Aaron Rodgers and the Jets peaked last season but after he went down, the entire franchise failed to float through the regular season. The four-time MVP is the backbone that will shoulder the responsibility of leading a team which last went to the Super Bowl in 1969.
