It has been an anxiety-inducing off-season for LeBron James and his wife Savannah. The Los Angeles Lakers star fell short of making it past the first round of the NBA playoffs, following which the team ousted head coach Darvin Ham. As the Lakers search for a new head coach, a task on which James is likely to be consulted constantly, the star forward is focused on preparing his sonny Bronny James for the NBA Draft.
At the recent Pro Day hosted by Rich Paul’s Klutch Sports, LeBron James showed up with his wife Savannah James to show their support for son Bronny James. He sat with his Lakers co-star Anthony Davis and at the star-studded event, Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine was present as well. An awkward moment arose as LaVine approached LeBron and greeted him, however, he did not even glance at Savannah James, who was seated right next to her husband.
It was odd to see as LaVine did not even flinch or look in her direction given the possibility that could potentially be a Laker this off-season. He then moved on to dap up Anthony Davis who was sitting to the right of Mrs. James. As the guard walked past Savannah, she gave him a stare and watched him walk past her. A rather odd situation. While fans had mixed responses to this incident, cornerback for the New York Jets, Sauce Gardner had his own response.

It seems unlikely that Savannah James and Zach LaVine have met before or have been introduced in a manner as to make them acquaintances.

Considering the situation, it was the Pro Day wherein talented prospects were the highlight and it was not the situation for LaVine or LeBron to see to it that Savannah greeted him.

Sauce Gardner is referring to the fact that since LeBron and LaVine know one another well, it is enough for them alone to greet each other. There is no compulsion for Savannah to have to greet him as well.
LeBron and Savannah James are proud parents as Bronny James is all set to make his way to the NBA. Despite playing just one season at USC, wherein he showed a handful of glimpses of elite basketball play, the eldest son has not proved himself to be a top-10 pick, and the parents know it. Bronny carries a lot of pressure off his shoulders owing to his last name and unfortunately, despite his attempts to establish himself as a unique player by himself, he will continue to be constantly compared to his father, who is an all-time great.
