Sean Strickland has called out Paulo Costa yet again. Costa has allegedly not signed the contract yet for their showdown at UFC 302. Will Paulo Costa pull out of this matchup yet again? Strickland had an interesting theory for why this could be happening. Here is what happened:

Sean Strickland recently sent out a video on social media. In that video, he called out Paulo Costa, saying that the Brazilian has yet to sign their UFC 302 contract. However, Strickland speculated a reason for Costa pulling out of his fights. With less than three weeks remaining, it remains a concern for the MMA community.

Do we need to get someone for you to talk to my man. Do we need to sit you down and have you talk about your f*cking feelings?…

According to Strickland, something happened to Paulo Costa after he fought Israel Adesanya back in 2020. Costa lost against Israel Adesanya at UFC 253 in a title bout. Their fight did not last long, and Adesanya knocked him out in the second round. Since then, Costa has pulled out of many potential matchups for various reason

However, Strickland had come up with a solution. He said that therapy was for weak men. Strickland said Costa was “a weak f*cking man.” ‘Tarzan’ said if Costa could not ‘sack up’ and make the fight happen, they would get someone for him to talk to. Strickland asked Costa not to disappoint him or the fans and let Strickland make him bleed.

Costa had pulled out of a fight against Jared Cannonier in 2021, citing issues with payment and claiming he never signed the fight agreement. However, in this case, Paulo Costa uploaded a picture of a mock UFC contract with his signature on it.

There have been no official updates of the fight being canceled. Sean Strickland vs. Paulo Costa is still on the official fight card for UFC 302. A win can potentially help Strickland get back to the title picture. However, the same cannot be said for Costa, as he might have to put on a winning streak to get back on top.
